This is the only rebuilt cabin in Stunner, Colorado. It's a place you really have to want to check out to make the trip. It's remote even by Colorado standards at the intersection of FR 250 and 380 in Rio Grande National Forest near Platoro. The dirt roads are usually decent, but have bad sections of washboard. There are the usual dilapidated cabins across the river from this site and a primitive campground located nearby. It could be a long day trip or a stay in Platoro would make for a more pleasant outing and give you time to fish or hike the nice trails in the area.
